Job Description
The Technology Production Environment Management position requires you to oversee the day-to-day management of production technologies. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system stability, performing backups, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing production processes. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of production environment management, technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Your duties and responsibilities will involve: - Managing and monitoring the production environment to ensure smooth and efficient system operations. - Performing routine checks and maintenance on production systems to minimize downtime and disruptions. - Monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and taking proactive steps to address them. - Performing regular backups of system configurations, data, and critical components to maintain data integrity. - Developing and implementing recovery procedures to minimize system downtime in case of failures. - Continuously assessing system performance and implementing improvements to optimize production environments. - Monitoring and configuring system resources such as servers, databases, and applications for optimal performance. - Responding to production system issues reported by Level 1 support and escalating to Level 3 when necessary. - Providing Level 2 support by troubleshooting and resolving complex system problems and incidents. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems. - Documenting all production environment configurations, issues, resolutions, and processes to maintain a clear record. - Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance production environment efficiency. - Staying updated on industry best practices and technologies to continuously improve system performance. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree in Computer Science. - Proven experience in managing production environments, system administration, or related fields. - Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system monitoring and issue resolution. - Familiarity with backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, server management, databases, and networking. - Experience with tools for monitoring and optimizing production systems. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a remote and multicultural environment. - Fluency in English. This is a part-time, freelance position that allows you to work from home during the day shift from Monday to Friday.
