Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neurology Technician to join our medical team. The Neurology Technician will assist in performing diagnostic procedures and tests related to neurological conditions under the supervision of a neurologist or healthcare professional. They will play a crucial role in providing accurate and reliable data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurological disorders. Responsibilities : Prepare patients for neurology tests and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Conduct basic neurological examinations, including assessing reflexes, coordination, and sensory responses. Perform and record routine tests such as electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyograms (EMGs), and evoked potentials (EPs). Operate and maintain neurology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration. Assist neurologists or healthcare professionals during specialized procedures like brain mapping, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), or deep brain stimulation (DBS). Educate patients and their families about test procedures, preparation, and aftercare instructions. Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of test results, including observations and any abnormalities. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, scheduling tests, and maintaining patient records.
