As a Technician Electrician - Utility at RCP-Mumbai, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment within and surrounding the IDC, including substation and utilities such as DRUPS and LT/HT DG sets, HVAC systems, and more. Your technical responsibilities will include monitoring, operating, and maintaining electrical systems ranging from 11 KV to 0.433 KV, emergency diesel generator sets, dynamic rotary UPS systems, DG battery banks, battery chargers, control systems, panels, protective relays, transformers, switch gears, BMS systems, HVAC systems, various detection systems, lifts, cranes, and more. In addition to technical tasks, you will be in charge of day-to-day operations and maintenance of utility equipment, conducting preventive maintenance of electrical panels and other equipment, recording readings, maintaining daily log sheets, conducting load trials, checking battery bank health, coordinating with technicians/engineers during power failures, preparing reports and work permits, and handling sudden breakdowns. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a PWD license and have completed ITI or NCTVT or equivalent, with 4 to 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance facility management.
