Key Responsibilities Understand and document existing Laravel codebases, APIs, and modules. Create structured, well-formatted documentation for internal and external developers. Write technical guides, how-tos, installation/setup manuals, and API references. Collaborate with Laravel developers to understand new features or architectural changes. Maintain and regularly update technical documents as code evolves. Follow best practices for versioning, document structure, and terminology consistency. Support QA and Product teams by explaining flows and technical requirements through documentation. Use tools like Swagger/Postman for API documentation and Markdown for code documentation. Requirements 13 years of experience in technical writing or software documentation. Familiarity with Laravel, PHP, REST APIs, Git, and database structure. Strong command of English and technical writing best practices. Ability to understand and break down backend logic into simple, readable formats. Experience using tools like Markdown, Swagger, Postman, ReadMe.io, or similar. Basic understanding of front-end/back-end integration and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Nice to Have Hands-on coding experience (Laravel or any backend). Experience writing developer onboarding guides and architecture overviews. Familiarity with Agile documentation workflows (e.g., Confluence, Notion).
