Job Description

Shift: This position follows the (GMT+05:30) Asia/Kolkata (IST) time zone and is a Hybrid opportunity located in Pune. Opportunity Type: This is a Full-time Permanent Position with Uplers" client, Perforce Software. Must have skills required: You must have expertise in C++, Customer Service, and Debugging. Position Summary: As a Technical Support Engineer at Perforce Software for the Components and JRebel team, you will be responsible for providing support and services on various products and technologies. You will collaborate with Support, Software Development, and Professional Services teams to resolve customer issues effectively and ensure high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include interacting with end users on technical problems, providing tier 1 and 2 support for JRebel and Components products, setting up test environments, troubleshooting and replicating customer-reported issues, advocating for the customer, and maintaining a positive attitude. You will also be part of the on-call rotation and escalate customer concerns or requests for improvement. Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience, have 3+ years of experience in a similar field or Technical Support role, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, hands-on experience with Java, familiarity with C++ and Java IDEs, knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems, and excellent problem-solving skills.
