Role Description This full-time, on-site role as a Technical Superintendent, will involve managing daily operations on vessels, ensuring safe and efficient ship management. You will oversee maritime operations, inspections, and marine engineering, focusing on both preventative and corrective maintenance. In addition, the role will include: Coordinating with vessel crews to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies. Conducting technical inspections and assessments to ensure vessel readiness and operational safety. Managing dry-docking and maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime. Providing technical support to vessel crews and shore-based teams. Monitoring vessel performance, including fuel consumption, emissions, and operational efficiency. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall vessel performance. Handling technical documentation and reporting requirements in compliance with regulatory bodies. Act as Company Security Officer (CSO). Qualifications Chief Engineer MEO CL I or 2nd Engineer MEO CL II with prior shore experience. Preferably sailing experience on offshore vessels. Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Knowledge of rules and regulations of classification agencies and IMO; Experience in dry-docking, vessel inspections and repairs. Willingness to travel for vessel visits and inspections as required.,
