We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to lead a talented team of software developers in building cutting-edge and mission-critical systems using state-of-the-art technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical software systems.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability through architectural decisions.
- Oversee AI/ML, data engineering, and cybersecurity strategies to enhance system capabilities.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technical team in an agile environment.
- Provide technical guidance and drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, testing, and DevOps.
- Plan and execute software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business leaders, and military stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory standards, and data protection best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively address security concerns.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of proven experience managing advanced technologies in complex, real-time systems, with expertise in real-time data processing, streaming technologies, and cloud-based architectures
- Familiarity with frontend and micro-frontend technologies like React, Angular, Vue.js, and Module Federation).
- Expertise in building and managing data pipelines (Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark).
- Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS S3, Google BigQuery, HDFS).
- Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands-on experience in Data Annotation, Model Training, and Model Deployment.
- Familiarity with model evaluation and optimization techniques.
- Proficient in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experienced with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
- Knowledgeable in cloud platforms, including Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript, with hands-on experience using backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Spring Boot, and Node.js, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
- Understanding cybersecurity best practices, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms especially concerning sensitive military data.
- Deep understanding and experience of Agile principles and Scrum methodologies; [ PMP certification preferred; equivalent experience will be considered ].
- Ability to develop and iterate on a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with military personnel, engineers, and business leaders.
- Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Ability to handle unexpected challenges and adapt quickly.
