Job Description
As a Technical Head for Software Development at our company based in Kolkata, India, you will be leading a team of developers with 15-20 years of experience in the industry. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure the successful delivery of robust and scalable software applications. With a strong background in PHP, CodeIgniter 3 or 4, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, Linux/Unix, C++, Data Base side development, and Server Setup and configuration, you will drive technical excellence within the team. Your role will involve leadership and team management, including mentoring developers and fostering a collaborative environment. You will provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software applications, overseeing the SDLC process, and executing server setup and maintenance to optimize performance and security. Your problem-solving and analytical skills will be crucial in analyzing complex technical issues and providing efficient solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure project requirements are met within deadlines. Conducting code reviews and managing project timelines and resources will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with proven experience in leading development teams. Expertise in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, Linux/Unix, C++, and Server Setup is essential.
