Job Description
You will be joining NEC Software Solutions India as a Team Lead / Manager FPNA, based in Navi Mumbai / Mumbai, reporting to the Senior Manager. As the owner of the FP&A process in NEC India Shared Service Centre (ISSC), your role will involve overseeing Finance month close, team management, and ensuring first-class delivery of FP&A services within specified SLAs to NEC SWS UK team. You will collaborate closely with various financial, operational, and corporate functions within the organization, and lead new entity transitions across Public Safety. Your responsibilities will include closely tracking and managing the periodic financial closing activities in Public Safety Business, reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet key account variances, guiding the team on Balance Sheet recs, assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, working on 5-year MTP and Annual Budget processes, preparing key metrics Dashboard, driving continuous improvement within the team, conducting year-end appraisal reviews, and maintaining strong stakeholder management and communication skills. To excel in this role, you must possess very good accounting knowledge, engage effectively with multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders, have hands-on experience in FP&A processes, extensive knowledge of SAP Finance Modules, experience in managing medium-sized teams, customer-focused approach with continuous improvement mindset, willingness to learn, strong performance orientation, natural leadership skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, flexibility in problem-solving approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills, collaborative and inclusive work style, and effective analytical and communication skills in English. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant or MBA Finance from a reputed university with a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in Finance, preferably with FP&A team management experience in captive SSC / BPO sector. The working hours for this role are 8.5 hours per day with flexibility to work for UK hours.
