As an Associate Lead/Team Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at our team in India, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our QA team on various projects. Our team possesses diverse competencies including Manual Testing, Test Automation, Performance Testing, DevOps, Accessibility Testing, and Security Testing. We are seeking an individual with expertise in both Automation and Manual testing, encompassing Application UI, Services, and Data, with a strong proficiency in writing Automation tests using Java and TypeScript. Your background should include: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS) - Minimum 7 years of experience in Test Automation, UI, API automation, Performance Engineering, and Accessibility Testing - Proficiency in coding and debugging with tools like Java, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, Robot Framework - Experience with Performance Engineering tools like Netload, JMeter, or LoadRunner - Knowledge of browser-side performance testing tools - Skills in Accessibility Testing with tools like WAVE, AXE, SiteImprove - Understanding of testing pyramid, functional and non-functional testing aspects - Ability to design test automation frameworks and contribute to automation using CI/CD pipeline - Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, and cloud platforms like AWS - Capability to mentor junior team members and adapt to Agile & Kanban development approaches - Experience with test and defect management tools like Zephyr, Testrail Preferred qualifications: - Experience in an Agile environment - Eagerness to learn new skills - Familiarity with Browser Developer tools - Knowledge of Elasticsearch/MongoDB/NoSQL querying In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and executing automated tests - Debugging, fixing, and optimizing existing automated tests - Maintaining manual test scripts as required using the Zephyr tool in JIRA - Utilizing bug tracking and report generating tools - Communicating test progress, results, and relevant information to leadership and stakeholders - Configuring regression frameworks to run against different instances - Collaborating closely with Software Engineers, Product, and Project Management This position entails an 80% coding and 20% people management role, operating during regular working hours in India.
