Job Description

Responsibility of test lead is to effectively lead a team of testers to meet the project goals and thereby achieving the organization goals that are derived. Single point contact (SPOC) between on site and offshore team along with Overall testing ownership for assigned applications Experience in technically leading QA projects which includes managing of Automation testing initiatives in Agile way Estimate and obtain management support for the scope, schedule & maintain quality parameter of applications under test Hands-on experience in backend testing using Rest Assured API testing automation, Postman / REST Assured or any other solution Strong abilities to rapidly learn new sophisticated technological concepts and apply knowledge in daily activities. Define & publish the Test Strategy, Test plan for the tasks & assign task to all team members Verify readiness of the product for release through release review. Obtain Client/ Business acceptance on the deliverables Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones (Whenever required help in troubleshooting the technical issues or seek help from concern authority on timely basis) Out of the box solutioning to handle different business case scenarios CI/CD integrations using Jenkins or equivalent including version control Publishing a clear and concise statistical and metric-based reporting of testing progress including reports and dashboards: Project Status Report (Requirement Coverage, Test Coverage, Build status, Defect Metrix etc. Personality Traits Excellent communication skills having ability to engage effectively with external and internal stakeholder. Knowledge Sharing; Upskill & Reskill of team members; Mentor to team Innovative ideas & its implementation with project and extend to other teams Adaption & implementation of already existing innovations OR Best Practices,
