Job Description
As a Tax Due Diligence Associate at Plante Moran, located in Mumbai, India, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients to save money on their tax obligations by ensuring compliance with federal tax laws. Your responsibilities will include developing US tax information requests, managing information flow within tight deadlines, drafting tax due diligence reports for C corporation, S corporation, and LLCs, and participating in tax due diligence calls with internal tax teams and clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with other due diligence streams to support client outcomes, evaluate tax benefits of acquisition structures, conduct research on US tax topics, write tax alerts, and assist with internal tax education. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year of experience with US taxes and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Preferred certifications include CA, CPA, or EA. Fluency in written and verbal English, proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical skills, flexibility with work hours, and excellent presentation, written communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
