Job Description
You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Compliance and your main responsibility will be to be customer-focused with excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey information to clients from diverse industries. It is essential to connect with stakeholders to provide tailored support for their tax compliance needs. You and your team will be focusing on continuous process improvements and automation programs to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance operations. Additionally, you will regularly collaborate with onsite teams and stakeholders in the US to address any compliance issues or changes in tax regulations. Your role will also involve clearly explaining complex tax matters to clients, providing guidance, and resolving queries effectively. As a team player, you will participate in cross-functional projects aimed at system improvements or process changes. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical expertise with a minimum of 6+ years of core SUT experience exclusively in Sales & Use Tax Domain. It is important to have an understanding of processes, tax filing experience, worked with POA for clients, managed end-to-end notices, experience with exemption certificates, understanding about state authorities, experience with interaction with clients & jurisdictions, and attending tax conferences would be a plus. Qualifications required for this role include an MBA in finance (not required to be from a top B-School), knowledge of Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel, excellent communication, logical and analytical skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. This position is a remote role working 5 days a week on the night shift from 6.00 pm to 3.00 am.,
