The Tax Accountant position based in Pune with 7-10 years of experience in the Real Estate industry involves various key responsibilities and requirements: You will be responsible for ensuring timely statutory compliance in coordination with the company's consultants. Your role will involve identifying and resolving complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings. You will share financial data with management to facilitate informed decision-making and generate Management Information System (MIS) reports. Additionally, you will identify tax savings opportunities, suggest strategies to increase profits, and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. Forecasting tax predictions to management based on current regulations and financial data, as well as conducting quarterly limited reviews of tax-related processes and compliance, will also be part of your duties. Key Skills and Requirements: - Expert knowledge of Tally; experience with cost centers in Tally is an additional advantage. - Proven experience (7-10 years) in tax accounting, specifically in the real estate and trading sectors. - Strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for tax-related issues. - Proficiency in generating MIS reports and financial data analysis. - Strong communication skills for liaising with management, auditors, and consultants. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and a performance bonus.
