Job Description

As a Tandoor CDP (Chef de Partie), you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, whether it's pantry, fish, sauces, or vegetables. With a minimum of 8 years of experience and currently working as a CDP / DCDP in South Indian cuisine, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the kitchen and restaurant. In a large kitchen, you may have several cooks or assistants working under you, while in smaller kitchens, you are the sole worker in your station. Reporting to the sous chef and executive chef, your main responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your specialty section. You will also assist in defining menu concepts, developing dishes, managing health and safety practices, monitoring supplies, and helping with recipe costing and inventory control. It is essential to operate and maintain all department equipment and report any issues promptly to ensure efficiency in the kitchen. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as food provided. You should be prepared for rotational shifts and weekend availability. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 1 year of total work experience, preferably in a similar capacity. The work location is on-site, requiring your presence in person to fulfill your duties effectively.,
