Job Description

You will be responsible for the role of a Data Analyst with 9-11 years of experience in Bangalore. As a Data Analyst, you will utilize various facilitation methods, analytical tools, and techniques to gather, assess, analyze, and document requirements including business, stakeholder, and solution requirements. It will be your duty to take ownership of the documented requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure successful implementation and embedding of proposed changes or business improvements. Your focus will be on delivering outcomes that are accepted by stakeholders and realizing targeted benefits. You will be required to identify and document gaps by leveraging a deep understanding of current and future states to determine the underlying business need and derive value associated with transitioning from the current to future state. Your responsibilities will also include performing detailed data analysis and source to target data mapping as necessary to ensure that detailed data requirements are well understood and documented. Additionally, you will create and maintain data governance artifacts such as the Data Dictionary, Interface Data Agreements, and the Data Product Catalogue. Impact analysis will also be part of your role to ensure that changes to upstream systems and processes in the design phase are well understood, and data and reporting impacts are considered, with upstream solutions designed to meet reporting and analytics outcomes. You will facilitate scoping and business priority setting for data-related changes while engaging stakeholders as needed. To excel in this role, you should have an understanding of Business Intelligence, Business Process Management, and other aspects of reporting/analytics. Previous experience working within a Business Intelligence team and knowledge of BI Platforms like Tableau and BigQuery will be beneficial. Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract data for analysis and reporting to various stakeholders is essential. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop trusted and enduring relationships with business clients are also critical. Knowledge or experience working on Cloud platform projects, as well as familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence, will be advantageous for this position.,
