Job Description
We're Looking for System Support Engineer Candidate for Pune location 2 to 4.5 years of strong hands-on experience in Support with networking experience. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide middleware support for Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, and Java-based applications. Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware components including Apache, Tomcat, Java, and SSL Certificates. (Optional: WildFly, JBoss) Offer system administration support for Java applications running in various environments. Conduct log analysis and troubleshooting at server and application levels to identify and resolve issues. Coordinate with multiple internal teams and external vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of: Apache and Apache Tomcat setup and tuning (JVM optimization, thread and connection settings). Java application troubleshooting including root cause analysis from stack traces and log analysis. Web application infrastructure tier and deployment processes. Networking concepts, including understanding of application-related ports and protocols. Familiar with source code repositories and tools: Bitbucket, TFS, Git JIRA for issue tracking and collaboration Experienced in: Performance tuning and environment optimization across Apache, Tomcat, and WildFly. Conducting system analysis to identify improvements and implementing fixes. Technical documentation creation for installations, configurations, and SOPs. Extended production support and on-call troubleshooting during critical incidents. Basic understanding of Azure Cloud, desktop support, and networking fundamentals. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and coordination across cross-functional teams. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
