Job Description

As an experienced AWS Lambda Developer with over 10 years of expertise, you will be responsible for designing and developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and NodeJS. Your role will involve integrating AWS services such as DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3 to create scalable and high-performance solutions. You will need to implement microservices architecture to ensure modular and maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing performance and scalability of serverless functions, documenting the codebase, and upholding best practices in coding standards. It will be essential for you to ensure that continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes are followed diligently to maintain efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field along with a solid foundation of 10+ years of experience in AWS Lambda development and serverless architecture. Proficiency in NodeJS and DynamoDB is crucial, as well as a strong understanding of microservices design principles. Experience with API integration, cloud-based services, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems will be advantageous. Preferred skills for this position include AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer, familiarity with other AWS services like S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch, as well as experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog.
