Job Description

As an AWS Lambda Developer with over 10 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and NodeJS. You will be tasked with integrating various AWS services like DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3 to create scalable and high-performance solutions. Embracing a microservices architecture will be essential to ensure the codebase remains modular and maintainable. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial as you translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your expertise will be utilized to optimize the performance and scalability of serverless functions. Documenting the codebase and upholding best practices in coding standards will be key aspects of your role. Continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes must be diligently followed to ensure seamless project delivery. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Your extensive experience in AWS Lambda development and serverless architecture, along with proficiency in NodeJS and DynamoDB, will be essential. A strong grasp of microservices design principles, coupled with experience in API integration and cloud-based services, will set you up for success. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems is a plus. Preferred skills that can further enhance your candidacy include AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer. Experience with other AWS services like S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch, as well as familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, will be advantageous.
