You should possess a BSc/BCA/MCA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Having a professional certification such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA/CCNA) would be advantageous. You must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, System Administrator, or Network Administrator position at a reputable organization. Your responsibilities will include working with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management. You should also have knowledge of system security, data backup/recovery, and the ability to create scripts in Python, Perl, or other languages. It is essential to be familiar with various operating systems and platforms, possess resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, you should be below 40 years of age. The remuneration offered is competitive, along with fully-furnished air-conditioned accommodation and food facilities. As a System Administrator, your duties will involve installing and configuring software and hardware, managing network servers and technology tools, setting up accounts and workstations, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues and outages, ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls, upgrading systems, and training staff on new technologies. You will also be responsible for developing technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies within an internal wiki. This is a full-time position with food provided as a benefit.
