Job Description

As the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer for Solar Power Plants, your main responsibilities will include overseeing the inspection and assessment of various HT/LT Electrical Equipment, such as Motors, Generators, Transformers, Switchboards, Switchgears, Cables, Insulators, Control Panels, Battery Chargers, and Switchyard items at both vendor premises and project sites. You will be responsible for conducting quality audits, witnessing testing procedures, and reviewing vendor drawings and technical specifications. Your role will involve site inspections of Electrical Installations at Solar Power Plants, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications for various components like Solid core insulators, Circuit Breakers, Cables (HT and LT), Panels (HT and LT), FLP equipment, and motors. You will also be tasked with inspecting Protection relays, pressure and temperature gauges, indicators, switches, transmitters, and ensuring Solar Installations are in accordance with the provided drawings. Additionally, you will be involved in evaluating vendors, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, and coordinating with both vendors and clients. Your responsibilities will also include developing new clients, participating in Tender bidding processes, and ensuring that all electrical safety norms specific to Solar Power Plants are strictly followed. You will be required to prepare Conformity Reports and Non-conformity Reports for different Electrical equipment and materials, analyzing their quality based on Indian and International Standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting various tests on electrical equipment and materials to ensure compatibility with consumer requirements and implementing suitable quality control measures as per the standards.,
