As a Credit Collections Specialist at WPP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring smooth financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include keeping a detailed record of client communications, resolving queries and issues efficiently, reconciling accounts, and participating in cash planning and forecasting. You will be tasked with providing accounts receivable systems support to management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of client queries, and managing the integrity of documentation related to client disputes. Your role will also involve adhering to the group's credit policy, reviewing daily bank statements, accurately allocating client cash receipts, recording and banking received cheques daily, and maintaining the accuracy of client master data records. Additionally, you may be required to provide cover for colleagues during holidays and sick leaves and undertake ad-hoc projects directed by the Finance Operations Management. To excel in this role, you should hold a minimum graduate degree with 6-9 years of credit collections experience in a fast-paced organization. You must be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills for negotiation and reconciliation are essential, along with self-motivation, commercial focus, and a commitment to excellent client service. Your ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure will be key to your success.
