HIRING for Structured Cabling System (SCS) Technician For ICAD, Saudi Arabia Structured Cabling System (SCS) Technician Company: ICAD, Saudi Arabia Location: Saudi Arabia Experience: Minimum 5 years in the relevant field Job Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7) structured cabling systems. Perform cabling, routing, dressing, labeling, and patch panel terminations for data, voice, and network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair network cable faults, connectivity issues, and signal loss. Operate cable testers, OTDR, Fluke testers, fusion splicers, and other fiber optic tools. Read and interpret network schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ensure proper installation of racks, conduits, cable trays, and enclosures according to industry standards. Work with switches, routers, and networking equipment as part of structured cabling integration. Follow BICSI, TIA/EIA, and local regulatory standards for structured cabling installations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and IT teams to ensure project success. Maintain safety compliance and ensure proper cable management practices. Qualifications & Experience: Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications. Experience: Minimum 5 years in structured cabling, fiber optics, and network cabling. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of fiber optics, copper cabling, and network infrastructure. Experience with Fusion Splicing, OTDR Testing, and Cable Certification Tools (Fluke, etc.). Familiarity with rack installations, patch panels, and network hardware connectivity. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication abilities.
