As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing sourcing strategies for the sheet metal commodity at River. Your responsibilities will include driving negotiations, supplier selection, and management, as well as leading sourcing initiatives to enhance shared supplier spend, productivity, and cost reduction. You will need to have a good understanding of press toolings, welding fixtures, and capex estimation. Working closely with supply chain analysts, you will develop strategies to optimize costs and pricing through Zero Base Costing. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cost models, conducting audits, and tracking cost history throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's/Masters degree in engineering or Supply Chain Management. You should have 5-6 years of solid experience in Pressing & fabrication commodity Management, preferably in the 2 Wheeler Automotive industry. Experience in managing relationships with strategic suppliers and excellent communication and people skills are essential for this role.,
