Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to take charge of our stores and inventory operations while also playing a key role in supporting production planning and managing a small production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in stores/inventory management within a manufacturing environment, along with hands-on involvement in production coordination. Preference will be given to female candidates to complement our existing team. Key Responsibilities Stores & Inventory Management: Supervise all stores activities, including receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Implement best practices in stores management to ensure optimal material flow and minimise wastage. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Production Support: Coordinate with production teams to plan and schedule material requirements. Maintain effective communication between stores and shop floor staff. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a small team of production and stores staff. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, and quality standards. Vendor Coordination & Logistics: Liaise with external vendors for procurement and delivery of materials. Support day-to-day logistics and facilitate smooth operations across departments. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in stores handling, inventory management, and team supervision (preferably in a manufacturing setup). Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Experience with inventory management systems/ERP software is advantageous. Female candidates strongly preferred, as per team requirements.
