Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in managing stores that contain spare parts, preferably within Beneficiation & Steel plant environments. Key responsibilities include making local purchase orders (LPO), receiving incoming goods while ensuring proper identification based on material specification, part number, and inspection status, issuing materials to related departments, maintaining stock records and stores accounting. It is essential to have knowledge in material management control systems such as FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring all vehicle activities, fuel issuance, and creating journey plans as required. The desired candidate profile includes individuals with experience in stores within the heavy industry, particularly Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
