Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our jewellery store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and managing inventory and staff performance. This role requires a blend of leadership, sales expertise, and operational acumen in a luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service

Drive store sales and meet or exceed sales targets through effective team leadership.
Ensure an exceptional and personalised customer experience that reflects the brand's values.
Build strong client relationships and manage VIP clientele through follow-ups and tailored services.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Team Management

Recruit, train, and develop sales associates and support staff.
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular staff evaluations.
Motivate the team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Schedule shifts and manage store manpower efficiently.

Store Operations

Oversee daily operations including opening, closing, and cash handling.
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
Ensure all safety, security, and compliance procedures are followed.
Monitor and control expenses, and optimise store profitability.

Inventory & Stock Management

Oversee stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.
Coordinate with suppliers and head office for timely stock replenishment.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper care, handling, and security of high-value jewellery items.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and share with management.
Analyse sales trends, customer data, and inventory levels to make informed decisions.
Implement promotional strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
