Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, architecting robust and scalable solutions, providing technical documentation, and leveraging new technologies to build the next generation of Transactional systems. You will be developing and delivering new features regularly and taking end-to-end responsibility for them. Additionally, familiarity with Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks will be valuable in this position. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages, and operating systems. Commercial software development experience in a Unix/Linux environment, knowledge of DevOps practices, and experience in consumer-facing application development are also essential. Your dedication to excellence, passion for understanding people, and commitment to product and service improvement will be highly valued. Moreover, comprehensive hands-on experience in testing activities, including the automation of functional test suites, will be beneficial. This position is a hybrid role, allowing you to split your time between remote work and office-based work. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with the general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Key skills and experience preferred for this role include building large-scale enterprise-level backend applications using Java, Spring, REST API, RDBMS, NoSQL, Vertx, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, strong scripting skills, experience with CI/CD tools, hands-on experience with Generative AI tools, TDD using JUNIT, and functional automation testing are also highly desirable. Additionally, proven experience in delivering complex software projects effectively through Agile methodologies and possessing strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are important for this role.
