Job Description
As a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse with experience in Maternity Care, you will be joining our team at Borneo Mother and Childcare in Nashik. Our commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients, particularly in maternity and childbirth services, is at the core of our mission. Your responsibilities will include providing nursing care to maternity patients following established hospital procedures and protocols. You will monitor the condition of mothers and infants throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period to ensure their safety and well-being. Administering medications, assisting with pain management, and offering emotional support to patients and their families will be integral parts of your role. Additionally, educating patients on prenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding techniques, and newborn care will be crucial. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with documentation standards is essential. Collaboration with obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals is vital to ensure comprehensive patient care. Your involvement in patient rounds, care planning, and response to emergencies will be necessary. Adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is mandatory at all times. The qualifications we seek in a candidate include a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and an active nursing license issued by the Maharashtra Nursing Board. A minimum of 1 year of experience in maternity care, preferably in a hospital setting, is required. Strong clinical skills, knowledge of maternal and newborn health practices, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach are essential. Your ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently will be valued. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule involves rotational shifts. The educational requirement is a Diploma, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse in Maternity care is necessary. A Nursing License is also required. The work location for this position is in Nashik, Maharashtra, and it is an in-person role.,
