Job Description

You should possess a solid background in modern frontend development with at least 8 years of experience, including 3+ years specifically in React or React Native. A strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals is crucial, along with the ability to understand rendering processes in both web and mobile applications. Proficiency in front-end build systems and tools such as Webpack, Vite, Yarn, and Lerna is essential. Your experience should also include building complex and high-performing web applications, as well as expertise in measuring and optimizing performance across different platforms. Experience in creating and executing test cases, including unit testing, snapshot testing, and integration tests, is required. Additionally, familiarity with enhancing CI/CD pipelines, particularly in a monorepo setup, is preferred. You should be adept at setting up tracking mechanisms and enhancing frontend performance for both web and mobile environments. While not mandatory, having a reasonable understanding of backend systems and a keen eye for product design would be advantageous. As a qualified candidate, you will be responsible for leading, architecting, and developing various aspects of web, mobile, and chrome extension projects. Your role will involve active participation in technical planning, recruitment, and fostering team skills. You will be expected to translate business requirements into system specifications, design documents, and application requirements. Furthermore, as a Staff Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and design of innovative software solutions that align with project scopes and significantly impact future development. Your responsibilities will also include conceptualizing and guiding the direction of development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices within the teams. You will analyze critical incidents, identify root causes, and work on sustainable resolutions based on business priorities. Taking complete ownership, you will iterate and enhance various key areas of the frontend division, such as design systems, product analytics, data management, developer experience, core platform, mobile app, and chrome extension. Your role will involve generating innovative ideas, creating software prototypes, and minimum viable products that drive or introduce new business capabilities. Moreover, you will evaluate, analyze, and lead the adoption of emerging technologies and practices to establish new standards that enhance software delivery and optimize value. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Tier 1 institution.
