As a Semiconductor Product Development Engineer at Infineon, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with various teams including Design, Test engineering, Production, Applications, Validation, and PJM throughout the entire product development and production ramp-up lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include enabling product development by ensuring part setup, hardware availability for testing and qualification, availability of test programs, and other screening measures. You will also be responsible for monitoring production and yield with respect to technology, product, and business needs. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing root causes for deviations from production targets in terms of quality, performance, or cost by coordinating with different stakeholders. Your tasks will involve data analysis, supporting productivity improvement initiatives at Manufacturing & Test, driving innovation methodology activities, and conducting Global Cross Functional Team Meetings to ensure product development activities are on track. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry, or a Master's degree in Electronics/Microelectronics/VLSI with 5+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry. Your ability to adapt to project needs, learn new concepts quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial. Additionally, you should have knowledge of IC manufacturing and production flow, programming skills in Perl/Python for automation, hands-on experience in data analysis and statistical methods, and a good understanding of measurement, validation, or design of electronic systems. Fluency in English, the ability to work across different time zones, and collaborate effectively with multi-cultural teams are essential for this role. If you are passionate about driving decarbonization and digitalization while contributing to innovative solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon offers an inclusive working environment characterized by trust, openness, respect, and equal opportunities for all applicants and employees.
