Job Description

As an Analog Design Engineer at onsemi's Image Sensors Group in Bengaluru, India, you will collaborate with the design team on block level/Sub System IP/ Top level design and verifications. You will work on generating feasibility reports for image sensor products, focusing on block level and top-level design and verification for 1D and 2D stacked image sensors. Collaboration with the analog layout team for layout reviews and EMIR simulations will be a key aspect of your role. You will also work closely with other teams such as digital, physical design, and product engineering during design and silicon bring up. Maintaining documentation and checklists for deliverables as per the New Product Development (NPD) flow and proposing methods to improve efficiency in design and verification processes will be part of your responsibilities. Your active participation in design review sessions, providing valuable insights, and maintaining effective communication within the team will contribute to the overall success of the team. Minimum requirements for this role include a BE in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience, or an MS with 8+ years of experience in analog design and verification. Experience in image sensors is considered a plus. You should have expert-level knowledge in analog mixed-signal designs, with knowledge of image sensor design flow highly desired. Silicon bring up and debug experience is an added advantage. Proficiency in EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso and EMIR tools is required, along with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Your ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes will be essential for success in this role.
