As a Senior Manager in the Engineering & Projects department focusing on Renewable Assets in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical and regulatory aspects of our renewable energy power plant assets, which include solar, wind, hybrid, and energy storage systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with regulations, maintain operational efficiency, and develop and implement technical strategies to optimize renewable energy performance. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and managing the performance of renewable energy assets to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime. You will conduct regular technical assessments, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain asset longevity. Collaboration with operations and engineering teams will be essential to implement advanced technology solutions for improved performance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulatory requirements, staying updated on renewable energy policies, grid codes, environmental standards, and permitting processes. You will provide technical support for the integration of renewable energy assets into the grid, including compliance with interconnection standards. Reviewing and approving technical documentation, drawings, and contracts from third-party vendors and contractors will be part of your role. Analyzing data from renewable energy assets to track performance, identify trends, and propose improvements, as well as presenting performance and compliance reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies will be crucial. Collaboration with finance and strategy teams to model the impact of regulatory changes on asset value and performance will also be necessary. You are expected to have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, along with 12+ years of experience in renewable energy asset management, technical operations, and regulatory affairs. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the renewable energy sector, proficiency in asset management tools, SCADA systems, and performance monitoring platforms, as well as project management experience are required for this role. Your interactions will primarily be with internal teams such as Projects, Engineering, Operation, Accounts, Finance, Procurement, EHS & ESG team, and external entities like Consultants and Vendors. The geographical scope of this position is global, with an approximate travel estimate of 30%. Financial accountability will be tied to cost/revenue with exclusive authority.
