We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in DevOps practices, cloud architecture (AWS), and automation using industry-standard tools. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability of mission-critical systems, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and advocate for operational excellence. As a Site Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include administering and optimizing our cluster-based services, focusing on data protection and system reliability. You will be responsible for implementing and managing monitoring tools, configuring alerts to detect and address cluster anomalies proactively, and utilizing SRE principles to develop scalable and highly reliable system architectures. Additionally, you will conduct thorough log analysis and debugging to identify and resolve system issues, with a deep understanding of Linux environments. You will be expected to tackle storage, system, and network issues, applying best practices to minimize downtime and data loss. Engaging directly with customers, you will provide expert troubleshooting support remotely and guide them through complex technical issues. Educating customers on system maintenance and data protection strategies will be essential to foster self-reliance and prevent future issues. To qualify for this role, you should have demonstrated experience in System Administration, with a focus on data protection, cluster-based service management, and SRE practices. Profound knowledge of Linux, system architecture, and network infrastructure is required. Experience with scripting and automation tools to streamline system operations is also essential. Additionally, you should possess exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience.
