Job Description
As a Sr Technical Professional - Piping Stress Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and reliability of piping systems by conducting thorough calculations to account for all potential loading conditions. It is crucial to verify that the piping systems meet stress analysis requirements and issue approved stress isometrics for critical lines when necessary. You will be expected to prepare stress calculations, summarize nozzle loads, and generate a comprehensive Stress Analysis Report to demonstrate compliance with relevant codes and standards. Attention to detail is essential to confirm that the design of piping, pipe supports, and special piping items align with ASME codes, industry standards, and project specifications. Your expertise should encompass a wide range of tasks including Pipe Stress Analysis Calculations, Plant Layout Comments, Piping Mechanical Specifications, and Special Studies. Additionally, you will be involved in creating Special Piping (SP) Item Calculations, Drawings, and Data Sheets, as well as managing Pipe Support Drawings and Requisition Worksheets. Proficiency in Caesar II software for flexibility analysis is required, along with knowledge of Support selection and design, including spl support Drawing creation. Familiarity with Fatigue/Blast considerations, FPSO Hog, Sag, and structural aspects is expected. Experience with Navis Model/Review Reality and understanding of AIV/FIV concepts are advantageous. An essential aspect of this role is the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in their work. Furthermore, knowledge of Pml macros development will be a valuable asset in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.,
