Job Description
As a Senior Lead Engineer/ Technical Lead specializing in wiring harness, your responsibilities will include functional and fitment testing of wiring harness and sub-aggregates on bench level as well as providing support for Proto build activities. You will be involved in wiring harness rework based on rework instructions, diagnosing faults, and conducting root cause analysis for all failures observed on proto vehicles. You will also be responsible for testing and validating wiring harnesses on Lab Cars, supporting new proto sample development, and conducting routing and packaging audits of wiring harnesses in vehicles during New Product development. Additionally, you will manage Vehicle Prototypes and prepare them, as well as assemble wiring harnesses and electrical components on vehicles. Your role will involve conducting complete electrical checklists on vehicles, checking wiring harness schematics, and performing on-vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on development vehicles. It is essential to have a good understanding of Vehicle Electrical Systems such as Starting system, Charging system, and Lighting system. Moreover, you should possess good knowledge of using testing instruments like Insulation Tester, Multimeter, Current Meter, and Environmental testing equipment. Your expertise in these areas will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the wiring harness systems in vehicles.,
