As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in WMS solutions to configure and deliver BY solutions effectively for customer business and technical processes. You will be required to analyze problems from various angles to identify root causes and lead your team in adopting the same problem-solving approach. Additionally, you will be expected to volunteer for new challenges, continuously learn, and foster a supportive team environment to drive success. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as a technical liaison in key meetings with Project Managers, Solution Architects, customer contacts, and users. You will facilitate knowledge transfer within the customer project team, communicate customer-specific needs to relevant stakeholders, and engage with Product Management and Development teams to relay feedback and updates. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Operate team to ensure customer stability post-implementation and drive value realization. To excel in this role, you should have at least 10 years of corporate experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Your expertise should encompass functional configuration of WMS products, technical integration, quality assurance, system testing, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with WMS product configuration, particularly JDA/RedPrairie WMS, is preferred, along with knowledge of integrating WMS with various systems such as ERP, TMS, WLM, and 3rd party solutions. You must possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you should have a proactive mindset, a teamwork mentality, and a commitment to enhancing the functional consulting practice. Knowledge of performance tuning techniques and experience with database structures and functional infrastructures will be advantageous.
