Job Description

The IT Operations and Application Support role at Visa involves developing and maintaining IT Configuration Management practices and methodologies. You will be responsible for managing server patching for operating systems and middleware, ensuring timely updates with coordination from IT teams. Your duties will include planning, scheduling, and executing vulnerability remediation using Qualys, as well as administering configuration and asset management tools to ensure CMDB data accuracy and integrity. Collaborating with Infrastructure teams to gather and support evolving technical requirements will be a key aspect of your role, along with monitoring and reporting unauthorized changes to configuration items. In Governance, Risk, and Compliance, you will participate in internal and external audits and address audit findings for assigned applications. Ensuring compliance with Identity and Access Management and Data Privacy policies using appropriate tools, conducting application risk assessments, and maintaining related documentation on privacy and security will also be part of your responsibilities. You will support operational resiliency planning, including disaster recovery strategies and service impact assessments, while serving as the Application Technology Coordinator for assigned systems to ensure ongoing compliance and data quality. As part of Stakeholder and Vendor Management, you will act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to maintain high-quality service delivery. Your role will involve coordinating with application owners and configuration item stakeholders to ensure service reliability, as well as assisting with vendor risk reviews and tracking progress on the remediation of identified issues. This is a hybrid position, and the expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Basic qualifications for this role include a High School diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience. Preferred qualifications include 2-4 years of work experience, a background in SaaS applications, experience with ServiceNow (especially in CMDB, CI management, reporting, and application criticality reviews), proficiency in ITIL processes (including Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management), strong knowledge of security and data privacy regulations, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, global environment, excellent analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The justification for creating this position lies in the ongoing consolidation of ATC support for SaaS applications and the strategic shift towards sustainable delivery at scale within the broader Visa CIT organization.
