Job Description

As a professional in the field of Technology development/Process scale-up & Engineering, you are expected to have a blend of R&D exposure throughout your career. Your strong domain expertise in Chemical processes fundamentals will be crucial for this role, along with your experience in Process development, Design & Simulations, Process Scale-up & Engineering in the Specialty chemicals/Chlorine/phosphorous/Epoxy/polymer Industry. Your key skills will include Process Improvement, Process Development, and Process Troubleshooting. Scale Up/Piloting Experience is a necessity, along with ASPEN process modeling experience. Any exposure to CFD will be considered a plus. Additionally, possessing basic knowledge of Organic & Inorganic Synthesis and Polymer Chemistry is required. In this role, you will be responsible for focusing on process equipment and unit operation performance improvements. This will involve expertise in reactors, separation systems (distillation, filtration, extractor, absorber, adsorber, etc.), heat exchangers, etc. Your duties will extend to process improvement, scale-up, and process engineering, covering conceptual and basic engineering, equipment rating and design, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), etc. Apart from technical proficiency, strong soft skills are essential for this role. Building relationships with stakeholders and conducting plant visits to understand customer needs will be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to address technical challenges and drive process improvements, starting from R&D based technical solution development and utilizing a process engineering approach with a plant implementation mindset. The ideal candidate for this position should hold an M. Tech in Chemical Engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.,
