The Sr. Reservoir Engineer position is crucial to support reservoir simulation and field development activities. As a Sr. Reservoir Engineer, your main purpose will involve conducting reservoir simulation studies using thermal and/or black oil models. You will be responsible for building, calibrating, and validating dynamic reservoir models for performance forecasting, as well as evaluating recovery processes, including thermal methods and conventional methods. Your role will require integrating geological, petrophysical, and production data to support development planning. You will analyze reservoir performance and provide recommendations for optimization. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, including geology, drilling, production, and surface engineering, will also be a key aspect of this position. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technical reports, simulation outputs, and presentations for project stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in reservoir simulation and engineering is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in thermal reservoir simulation, such as CMG-STARS. Proficiency in black oil simulation is a minimum requirement for this position. Familiarity with reservoir management and enhanced recovery processes is also essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are key attributes for success in this role.
