Job Description

The Purchase Engineer role requires 2-3 years of experience (with 1-2 years in solar industry) and expertise in cable tray, walkways, fabrication, and mechanical related equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical and be based in Noida. Responsibilities: - Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for MMS Structure, Aluminium Structure, Cable Tray, Walkway, and Fencing Items. - Float RFQs to potential vendors and manage quotations. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to drive cost savings and ensure competitive pricing. - Collaborate with project managers and engineering team to comprehend project requirements. - Issue Purchase Orders to vendors and follow up for material readiness. - Coordinate material inspections with the QC team. - Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory management. - Collaborate with site team for Material receipt Note. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. - Keep abreast of market trends to identify new suppliers and products. - Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address any concerns. - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires in-person work.,
