Job Description
As a Software Developer at Samsung Electronics America, Inc., you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality services and solutions using NODE.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, NoSQL, and other web technologies. Your role will involve participating in an engineering team throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release. You will be translating complex requirements into detailed designs and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge to adapt to rapidly changing technology. To excel in this position, you must have hands-on experience and proficient skills in JavaScript frameworks like Node.js. Experience in building REST-based reactive microservices platforms, working with relational and NoSQL databases, and designing event/message-driven systems is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures. Your track record should demonstrate the ability to deliver high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code. Moreover, experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, and AWS will be beneficial. Familiarity with DevOps processes, cloud application management, and asynchronous programming is required. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, drive cross-team solutions with complex dependencies, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree with a minimum of 4 years is mandatory. A continuous career progression without any gaps is preferred. Candidates with a minimum of 6 years of overall software development experience will be considered.
