Division New Product Development
Location : Sinner, Nashik
Reports to Business Head
Purpose - Why does this role exist
Primary function of this role will be to develop and bring business of value added tubular products from the automotive and other engg segments.
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
1. RFQ Analysis & Technical feasibility
2. Proto type development
3. Design & Development of FTG
4. APQP
5. PPAP documentation
6 sheet metal design
Critical Tasks
1. To develop & maximise customer base
2. Product Development - first time right
3. APQP Compliance.
4. Tooling selection and development
Decision making authority (Decisions expected)
Tooling selection and Procurement
Approval of costing
Educational Background and Work Experience
Diploma / B.E. Mechanical - 10-15 Years exp in NPD with automotive tubular components
Competencies
1. Good communication & Interpersonal skills
2. Design & Development of Automotive parts (Tubular)
3. Costing :- Product & Process
4. Machine Selection
5. Knowledge of VA/VE
6. Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 standard
