As a Senior .NET Developer with over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reliable software applications. Your expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .Net 8, and .NET Core, will be crucial in mentoring junior developers and collaborating within an agile development team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working as part of the development team to build complex software solutions using C#, ASP.NET, .Net 8, .NET Core, and related technologies. - Conducting code reviews to ensure best practices and high standards of code quality are followed. - Providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers. - Troubleshooting and optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and security. - Developing and maintaining unit tests and integration tests to ensure robust and reliable applications. - Actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and deliverables. - Staying current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends and implementing them where applicable. You should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Hands-on experience of 8+ years in C#, ASP.NET, .Net 8, and .NET Core. - Proficiency in working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases. - Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and SQL querying. - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with familiarity in front-end frameworks like Angular or React. - Proficient with Git and experience in branching, merging, and collaborative development. - Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS and cloud-based development and deployment strategies. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar. - Building and consuming RESTful APIs and other web services. - Strong grasp of design patterns (e.g., SOLID, Dependency Injection, Factory, Repository) and architectural best practices. - Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest, as well as mocking frameworks. - Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues. - Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools like JIRA. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment. - Capability to mentor and lead other developers while promoting a positive team culture. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
