Job Description * Designation: Sr. GIS Developer Department: Development Location: Bhopal Salary: Competitive Education Requirement : B.E./B.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MCS/M.Tech preferably Computer Science, GIS, Geoinformatics JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with Project Manager to define needs and applying / customizing existing technology to meet those needs Working on GIS (Geographic Information System) product Development Design and Develop software modules/forms in software development environment e.g. .Net environment, JavaScript, ESRI ArcGIS Web ADF, ArcGIS JavaScript etc. Write codes in necessary software programming/scripting languages, Microsoft technologies including but not limited to: C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5, ESRI Arc GIS SDK for .Net, ESRI Arc GIS JavaScript API, ASP. Net MVC Framework 3/4/5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, AJAX, XSL, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, UML, HTML, LINQ, Web API and Telerik controls etc. Develop reports using Reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal reports, I-Zenda Ad-hoc etc. GIS development using various open source GIS platforms as well as Google Map API Create build packages & deploy releases Perform R&D related to Development work Work in a team of software developers Reporting to Project Manager Good organizational skills Good Communication : English Verbal & Written Communication is a must Experience: 6 to 7 years experience in developing websites, custom web mapping applications using .Net, ESRI Arc GIS, Arc Objects, Arc GIS Server side programming, ArcGIS Java script API Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, Open source as well as Google Map API Experience in web mapping application development using AGOL (ArcGIS Online) Web app builder and custom web app templates & custom widgets, ArcGIS Silverlight API, Javascript API Experience in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 , ORACLE 11g,12C including schema design and writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and views etc. Experience in working with ArcSDE geo database platform Experience in developing websites using Teleriks R.A.D.
