Job Description

Position:-Sr. Firmware Engineer
Experience:- 5 plus Years of experience.
Notice period :- 30 Days.
Salary :- 10 LPA- 12 LPA
Work mode :- WFO.
Education :- Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering or M. Sc. Electronics / Instrumentation with relevant experience of 5 to 8 years for embedded firmware development.
Location:- Intellore Systems Pvt Ltd, Krishna Shanti Residency, S. No. 346 & 347, Off No 7 & 8, Bavdhan Budruk, Taluka Mulshi, Pune – 411 021, Maharashtra.

Job Summary:-
We are looking for a Senior Firmware developer, expertise in embedded firmware design, firmware architecture, documenting specific processes and procedure. He / She should work as Lead developer, technical resource and mentor to junior developers.

Responsibilities:- Mandatory Skills:

•  Programming in Embedded C & GNU toolchain
•  Excellent theoretical & practical embedded firmware design skills ARM cortex-M.
•  Implementation on device drivers: Serial, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB,
•  Theoretical & practical knowledge of TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet & Wi-Fi.
•  Collaborating with hardware engineers and proven knowledge of electronic microcontroller circuitry and signals. Should be able to read circuit diagrams.
•  Skilled in conceptualizing and implementing complex algorithms required industrial control and automation.
•  Unit and Integration testing, performance measurement, Debugging and analysis of the assigned issues, Re-engineering of existing code for reuse with required modifications and associated unit/integration testing & Activities associated white box testing, unit testing, board diagnostics for hardware platforms.

Good to have skills:

• Capture and draft firmware application requirement for the projects.
•  Proficiency and Experience in RTOS based applications
•  Familiarity in IoT with Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi chipsets, LoRa & RF modules. Familiarity with MQTT protocol, cloud technologies, encryption.
•  Develop high level and detailed design, unit/module test cases, simulators, test plans & reports.

Skills And Qualifications :-

•  Must have excellent understanding of Embedded design life cycle, new product development process & experience of working with global teams.
•  Expert in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets using test & measurement equipment like Digital Oscilloscope, Protocol Analyzer, CAN Analyzer, etc.
•  Familiarity with version management tools like SVN or Git and Bug / Defects tracking systems.
•  Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as good presentation skills
•  A willingness to learn is critical.
• Education :- Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering or M. Sc. Electronics / Instrumentation with relevant experience of 5 to 8 years for embedded firmware development.
