Job Description
The role involves managing day-to-day operations related to product costing & pricing, profitability reporting & analysis, accounting, and audits. Key responsibilities include: - Preparation and distribution of product costing and estimated profitability details. - Setting product pricing. - Developing annual budgets and providing monthly forecasts for manufacturing costs. - Generating plant and segmental reports. - Ensuring compliance with business rules and policies. - Conducting inventory valuations and costing overheads. - Preparing for cost audits and finalizing reports. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product profitability. - Reviewing profitability at regional, product, and model levels. - Calculating and applying overheads in the system. - Managing inventory accounting, including valuation, reporting, adjustments, and controls. - Forecasting monthly and yearly manufacturing expenses. - Analyzing variances between forecasts, actuals, and budgets. - Providing periodic reports on business inputs and cost reduction strategies. - Implementing internal controls and policies. Key Result Areas: - Regularly preparing, reporting, and presenting costing and pricing information. - Offering insights for performance indicators. - Partnering with business units and ensuring control over internal processes.,
