Job Description

As a HVAC Site Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: - Reading and understanding the system scope and project details based on air flow and control diagrams. - Verifying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and checking material availability at the site. - Highlighting any variances to the Project Manager and addressing issues with construction drawings and site conditions. - Coordinating with the design team for any required changes in construction drawings. - Ensuring that all work is executed based on approved construction drawings suitable for the site. - Supervising the installation of the entire HVAC system, including AHU, ducting, insulation, HEPA boxes, grills, filters, risers, and instrumentation. - Providing daily work updates to team members and addressing any deviations from construction drawings. - Verifying daily installations by team members and making corrections as needed. - Assisting team members in identifying the correct BOQ and managing daily material issues. - Ensuring that team members maintain quality and speed standards at the site. - Following all safety norms and attending regular site meetings to update the Project Manager on progress, issues, and schedules. - Preparing daily site reports, tracking work against the project plan, and reporting any changes or delays. - Managing workmen attendance and ensuring adherence to schedules. - Handling tools and tackles properly and overseeing installation measurements and billing for HVAC accessories. - Conducting leakage testing in AHUs, ducts, and pressure testing of piping. - Supervising HVAC system validation, balancing, and commissioning. - Being proficient in HVAC documentation such as DQ, IQ, PQ, OQ. - Coordinating with clients and consultants for unforeseen circumstances at the site and reviewing inspection reports. - Generating as-built drawings and obtaining client acknowledgements for completed activities.
