Job Title: Sr. Embedded Engineer / Team Leader

Location: Borivali (E), Mumbai
Experience Required: 4-6 years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech
Salary Package: 6-8 Lakhs per annum (depending on experience)

Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Embedded Engineer to lead and manage the embedded development lifecycle, aiming to create scalable and optimized systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software and hardware development for embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Embedded System Development: Design, implement, and optimize software and hardware for embedded devices from initial requirements through to production.
• Software Engineering: Develop, code, test, and debug system software; review code and design for efficiency and scalability.
• Hardware Integration: Interface with hardware design and development; integrate and validate new product designs.
• System Optimization: Analyze and enhance system performance; support software QA and optimize I/O performance.
• Support & Documentation: Provide post-production support; assess third-party and open-source software; maintain strong documentation and writing skills.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in embedded software and hardware development with hands-on troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Programming: Solid programming skills in embedded C; experience with real-time operating systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN; knowledge of hardware subsystems including RS485, RS232, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and OBD.
• Design Skills: Ability to read schematics and data sheets; experience in schematic and PCB layout design.
• Project Experience: Hands-on experience with GSM/GPRS and 8/16/32-bit microcontroller-based products; knowledge of M66, L86 modules is a plus.
