Job Description
What youll do: The Sr. Designer will be responsible for interpreting detailed non-standard switchboard product customer requirements and translating them into the final design package for the shop floor, ensuring smoother manufacturing of customized switchboards. Job Responsibilities: Good understanding of panels and switchboards, including preparing general arrangement drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, component selection, calculations, and BOM for given customer requirements. Experience in IEC/UL/NEMA electrical standards. Manufacturing exposure to panels and switchboards. Sound knowledge of industry communication protocols such as RS485, Ethernet, INCOM, Profibus, Modbus, patch panels, Ethernet switches, gateways, and Dashboard Lite. Able to create automation configurations for these protocols. Ability to communicate technical information to customers and manufacturing. Supporting the team on DA electrical/mechanical projects training, execution, etc Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering 0-2 years of experience in electrical design Skills: Experience working with global partners is a plus Good understanding of panels and switchboards Peer relationships Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; can represent his/her interests and yet be fair to other groups.
